Church Camp is on the 5th-7th of October. Please join us at Greenhills as we study God’s Word together. We will be holding talks, workshops and Bible Studies in English, Cantonese and Mandarin so everyone will be welcome!

We will be blessed with Rev Steve Trinh and David Tse coming to speak and lead us as we study the Book of Ephesians and on the topic of “New Creation For Christ”.

All our services will be moved to Greenhills that weekend. However, it is only 25 minutes from Isaacs! We hope you can all make it!

Canberra Austral Asian Christian Church is committed to Jesus Christ.  Our aim is to make Jesus Christ known to everyone and to help you to grow in love and understanding of him.  We warmly welcome you to meet with us for church services and small groups.  We have meetings in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

This is our statement of faith and objectives. It describes what we believe as a church and what we aim to do as a church.

Statement of Faith

1. The Bible is inspired by God, inerrant in the original documents and is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

2. There is one God, revealed in three persons who are co-existent, co-equal, and co-eternal – the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

3. The Lord Jesus Christ is truly God and truly man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and was born of the Virgin Mary. Although He was sinless, He died on the cross for our sins, was buried and rose bodily from the dead, and ascended to His Father’s right hand. We believe in the return of Jesus Christ, ushering in the ultimate rule of God and His judgment on mankind.

4. All mankind is sinful and of corrupt nature since the Fall, rendering them subject to God’s wrath and condemnation. Christ alone offers redemption through His death. The redemption becomes effective through repentance of sin and acceptance of Christ as Lord and Saviour by faith. Its reality is manifested by the subsequent growth of a believer.

5. The Holy Spirit lives in every believer and effects his/her regeneration.

6. The universal church consists of all true believers who have experienced God’s redemption through Jesus Christ.

7. Christ is the Head of the universal church and this church.

Objectives:

1. To reach out with the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people who still do not know Christ , especially those who live in Canberra.

2. To glorify God by fulfilling His love through a caring and sharing fellowship and building up one another to be His disciples and witness in the world.

坎培拉澳亞基督教會的信仰宣言：

1. 聖經是神所默示的，在原稿是無誤的，而且是信仰和生活的最終權威。
2. 神只有一個，卻是三位一體：同在、同等、直到永遠的聖父、聖子和聖靈。
3. 主耶穌基督是真的神，又是真的人。祂是受聖靈感孕，由童貞女馬利亞所生。雖然祂是無罪，卻為我們的罪死在十字架上、被埋葬、及後身體 從死裡復活且升天並坐在父神的右邊。我們相信耶穌基督的再來，並為世人帶來神終極的管治與審判。
4. 由始祖犯罪開始，世上所有人都是有罪性的罪人，常在神的判罪與忿怒之下。唯有藉著基督的死可以救贖我們。當我們藉著悔罪並以信心接受基督為救主與生命的主，這救贖便對我們產生效用。而救贖的真實是表明在信徒以後的成長之中。
5. 聖靈住在每個信徒裡達成他/她的重生。
6. 普世的教會是由所有經歷過神藉耶穌基督救贖的真信徒所組成。
7. 基督是普世教會與這教會的頭。

教會的目標：

1. 向未認識基督的人（特別集中對住在坎培拉的人）傳耶穌基督的福音。
2. 去榮耀神（藉關懷、分享的團契生活和彼此建立作主的門徒與見證人而成）。
