‘Making and Growing Disciples of Jesus Christ’
Our world is often a place of fading dreams and missed opportunities. We fail to be the people God intended us to be and often don’t even live to our own standards. This situation has led many to despair, but there is genuine hope on offer. Seeing our plight, God reached out to us in His Son, Jesus Christ. The death and resurrection of Jesus stands as the turning point of history. It is also the place where we can meet God. This is the good news that Christians call the “gospel”. Here, we find the promise of a new beginning for all who will return to Him.
The Canberra Austral-Asian Christian Church (CAACC) is a non-denominational evangelical Christian church.
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”
We warmly welcome people of every race and language to join us. As a group of believers, we want to express the love, mercy, grace and truth of our Lord Jesus Christ. As a church, we want to give everyone an opportunity to say “yes” to Jesus. We want to support, encourage and help every Christian grow in faith, love and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The church’s objectives are:
To reach out with the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people who still do not know Christ regardless of their racial backgrounds, especially those who live in Canberra.
To glorify God by fulfilling His love through a caring and sharing fellowship and building up one another to be His disciples and witness in the world.
